Wow, life has been crazy lately! I have been so busy with softball playoffs and Prom preparations, I wonder if Josh even knew he still had a wife! Softball did really well this year. We ended up losing to Joshua High School in the Regional Semi-Finals. Two games away from going to STATE! Oh well, we are young and we will bounce back next year!
Prom went so well. It was a beautiful night, a little windy for an outdoor event, but it kept the place cool so I can't complain! (I put some pics up of the girls and I hanging out.)
Now that all that is over I am back in volleyball and trying to catch up on everything. I am going to take Cookie and Jeff's engagement pictures this Friday and then I am going to try and take some family pics of one of the softball coaches and some other teachers that want pics of their kiddos! Hopefully life will slow down a little bit and I can take a breath sometime. . .probably not until I am laying on the beach in Cali! I can't wait - June 25th- July 6th!
Hope all is well.

26 miles later . . .

Well I obviously survived. . .barely, but I did. It was the most mentally challenging thing I have ever done. For being a girl in high school that couldn't even run a mile for volleyball, I think I have grown up quite a bit! I actually enjoy running now (when its not hurting my knee :) I think I might just keep doing it, but probably the smaller races!
Hope your spring is in full bloom. Yard work is the best part of spring. . . I love planting new flowers in the yard and watch my rose bushes come alive with color. I am going to the Dallas Arboretum tomorrow morning to get some good shots of the Dallas Blooms exhibit so I will put some on the blog when I get them uploaded.

Spring Break in Denton
Hey everyone,
Josh and I spent our very relaxing Spring Break at home in Denton. I must say that it was one of the most relaxing "vacations" we have ever had! We did almost nothing all week. I started my new photography hobby and painted a couple canvases for my friends nursery and Josh watched sadly as his NCAA BBall bracket fell apart! I ran 13 miles on Saturday and was in a lot of pain so I am probably going to take it easy for the next two weeks to make sure I am nice and healthy for the "BIG D" on April 6th!
As for the rest of our life, we have been on call for Misti and Jake for the last week. I know she is ready to have that baby all ready. . .and so am I. I can't wait for Ryleigh to have a little sister and me to have another baby to fall in love with. I am very excited about some of the pics I took of Ryleigh. She is so photogenic! I took all those pics in the slide show except for the one of me and Josh. Our friend Emily took them and she did such an amazing job. I have only seen four of them, but I am totally pumped about seeing the rest of them!
Well that's all for now. I will let you know how I am doing after the marathon. If there are no more postings, then you know I didn't make it!

Running 20 miles
Hey guys,
I can honestly say that running 20 miles this past Saturday was not one of my finest moments. I really hope that the marathon, the first week of April, makes more of an impact on me then this race did. I have never been so tired or physically hurt in my life, and I played volleyball for 10 straight years. The big race is 26 days away! I hope I can make it!!
This week is going to be very busy with trying to make up all the softball games last week due to the weather. Traveling every day for the next week on a yellow dog . . . should be fun!!! Josh has a track meet on Tuesday, then he has to prepare for one of the biggest nights of his life. . . the Fantasy Baseball Draft. Of course we are hosting!!! Oh well should be fun to see all the guys!
Cali trip is planned for June 25-July 6. Josh's family will fly down that Saturday and join us in Oceanside so we can all celebrate July 4th together.
Hope everyone has a great week!

Just getting started . . .
Hey everyone,
I decided to start a blog so that all our friends and family can see how Josh and I are doing without having to log on to myspace or facebook!
Josh and I are super busy at school right now. Josh has been in track for awhile and had his first meet cancelled this Thursday because it got snowed out. . . yes that's right, it snows in Dallas!!!! It was awesome, Denton got almost 8 inches in 8 hours!
I have been super busy with softball. We had three tournaments in a row, so needless to say I was not home at all during the "month of love". I am also training for the "BIG D" Marathon on April 6th. Only three weeks of training left!!! I am so excited, except tomorrow I have to run 18 miles in the cold next to White Rock Lake. . .that should be fun! I am really glad that I am doing it though. I have learned a lot about how far I can push myself mentally and physically.
Cali (our German Shepherd) is doing well. We think that we finally figured out the right dose of medicine to keep her healthy. She is a normal happy dog again! Thank God!
Summer will be here soon and we are flying to California for 10 days which will be a nice vacation and it will be nice to see the family since I haven't seen them since Christmas! Other than that we don't have much going on.
I am going to try and post at least once a month, but we will try for every other week. Talk to you again soon!
